Oh god. Next Tuesday? Who's in?

We will be performing a Diablo II ladder reset on June 17 beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. PDT. The reset is anticipated to require approximately six hours of downtime to complete, and during that time all Diablo II Battle.net realms will be unavailable for play. When the reset occurs all existing ladder characters will be moved to non-ladder. This provides a fresh start and new competition for leveling supremacy on the ladder realm.

So 6pm EST estimated realms come up. Last time was closer to 9pm.

I'll be there, can play until 2 or 3 AM.

Will be doing : paladin, hammers concentration.
xpack of course. Hoping we get a team of 8 players.

I work weekends, so I'm all set baby. Figuring my computer can hold out. Hasn't let me down yet. Hopefully half our members don't croak. I can probably get my friend Alex to get in too. He was one of the surviving members at the end. I think he was the Druid.

Can we try my 8 party set up this time? Please! For great justice?

Cold Sorc - Damage dealer
Conc Hammerdin- Up Hammerdin damage
Conv Hammerdin- Lower Enemy Resist
Fire Sorc - Damage Dealer
Salv Hammerdin- Resistance
Summoner Necro- Tank+Lower Resist
Wind Druid - Oak pretty much.
Leap Barb - BO,BC, Shout, and lvl 20 Leap.

i'll probably do a sorc on xpack, dunno yet

You did awesome teleporting with crap gear last time.
You use map hack? Because I think our teleporter needs map hack.
Yeah, I'm against it and I'm a totally legit player, but hell, it is so much faster with it to be totally honest.

Gand died teleporting in A4 normal last run (bad luck more than anything)- I did the teleporting without Maphack as I'll do again. There isn't a better cold/teleport sorc player on the planet, so I've earned dibs on that.

To be honest- as long as we have me, acx as pally, and a barb, everything else is gravy =) So play what you want- it's going to be a long session. Plan on starting between 6-8pm EST and going until at least 4 (possibly 6) am.

I will go for as long as is needed. At least this time they gave us an estimate when it is actually going to reset.

I bought myself a computer. Maybe it will get here in time for the reset. And then I gotta bring up my computer to where the router is for the direct connection.

I put in a bid with like 20 seconds remaining. I think it is a pretty good deal. And if I do get it in time, hopefully I won't be fighting with Vista for it to install my game.

So will I be the only fool on classic? Argh. Most you on xpac are only gonna play for the initial rush and stop after a few days?

Here is my plan. I play the initial reset rush all the way through. After the party breaks up, times there are a few other people that linger around for a while and I keep going until I eventually find myself into public games and get killed.

Then I'll play Classic for until I get killed. If I get killed by a pker, then that is it. If I get killed by natural causes then I might just give it one more shot.
